The Place to Be
Limon Integrative Massage
650 East Tahquitz Canyon Way
Palm Springs, CA 92262
The studio is located near downtown Palm Springs at the corner of Tahquitz Canyon Way and El Segundo, behind Koffi. The premises features covered parking and is within walking distance to restaurants (such as Sherman's Deli, Ruben & Ozzy's, Oscar's Cafe), shops, bars, hotels (I'm between the Hilton and Renaissance), and Regal Cinema movie theatre.
A receptionist is available to greet you Monday through Friday, 8a-5p with the exception of a lunch break 12p-1p. All other times I will be greeting you and escorting you into the office.
Entering my studio, you are instantly greeted by a sense of beauty and serenity. The massage room is an extension of that feeling.
Prior to beginning your massage or other kind of treatment, we begin with an intake which includes some personal information and an insight into your medical history, all confidential. It is extremely important to disclose any vital information in order to avoid exacerbating any previous or current injuries or issues. (Sometimes it isn't until you're already on the massage table that you remember something that happened long ago that might be useful information for me to know and it's okay to tell me at that time.) Gathering as much information as possible helps guide how the session will flow. Intention is a large part of the process. The clearer we are about the intention the better the results.
A restroom is available for use before or after your treatment.
In the case of massage, you only disrobe down to your own comfort level. My product preference is a massage lotion, water dispersible, that will not stain clothing and will leave you feeling moisturized without the greasy feeling. For craniosacral therapy and reiki treatments, you remain clothed. I recommended wearing something comfortable to lie down in.
Talking during massage or reiki is acceptable. If it feels as if it should be part of your own therapeutic process feel free to speak at any time. I find that it also helps build a trustworthy relationship between client and therapist. After all, you are trusting yourself in the hands of another. I do my best to provide a safe environment where you feel at ease.
After your massage or other body treatment, you are encouraged to take your time to get acclimated and sit up slowly. Feel free to ask any questions after the session is complete and I'll answer as honestly possible.
