"California Massage Therapy Council's mission is to protect the public by certifying qualified massage professionals in California."
You can verify a therapist's certification in California through the CAMTC website. Certification adds to the credibility of the person you are receiving bodywork from. Receiving work from someone lacking such qualification is putting yourself at risk for injury as the person may cause more harm than good not being familiar with human anatomy. CAMTC certificate holders require training from approved schools. Feel free to look me up. :)
